A case in point
What happened
An intermediary data source had drifted out of date. One property carried a stale council tax band for over three years, while the Valuation Office Agency held a different band on record — effective January 2023.
How we caught it
We rebuilt the data layer to query the Valuation Office Agency directly, with server-stamped provenance recorded on every result — so the band you see is the band the VOA holds, at the moment it was retrieved.
What it means for your firm
Every report your team receives carries a per-result “Verified against VOA” stamp, showing the date the band was confirmed directly against the official register. No intermediary drift between what the VOA holds and what your case file says.
